Locally known as the Q Bridge, this bridge spans 4,735 ft with about a 1,000 ft-long concrete section of the bridge. Lumina Lidar provided crack detection on the exterior and interiors of the concrete section for ATANE and the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT).

Lumina Lidar used a drone on the exterior surfaces of the bridge with payloads like a thermal camera, aerial LiDAR, and a high-resolution camera. Terrestrial LiDAR is also used to collect high-accuracy data to get the accurate crack locations. The data collected were processed in an automated process for a precise and timely result.

The town of Mt. Kisco planned to repair the bridge and divert the traffic on the other side of the bridge. AI Engineers are working on the design and manages the entire project.

Lumina Lidar performed LiDAR scanning and mapping of the bridge to create a 3D model with a Level of Detail 300 (LOD 300), which provides all significant details of the bridge such as railings, column, bridge abutment, beams, girders, and even bolts.
