This $77.3 million project is administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The project aims to modernize and improve the safety of a section of Route 8 from Exit 13 in Shelton to Exit 22 in Seymour. Work includes repaving, resurfacing, installing LED lights, replacing drainage systems, rehabilitating bridges, and upgrading guiderails. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
